Therapeutic Botox
BOTOX® has been used for chronic migraine for over 20 years and is Health Canada approved. Unlike most oral medications, which treat a migraine once it has already started, this is a preventive treatment: regular injections reduce how often migraines happen and how intense they are — stopping many before they begin.
This treatment is intended for chronic migraine — typically 15 or more headache days per month, with migraines on at least 8 of them. If you're unsure whether your pattern qualifies, book an assessment and bring a rough headache diary if you have one.
Migraine and chronic headache are significantly more common in people with hypermobility spectrum disorders and EDS, often overlapping with neck instability, TMJ dysfunction, and dysautonomia. These overlaps are considered in your assessment rather than treated as separate, unrelated complaints.
BOTOX® Therapeutic may be covered up to 100% by many private insurance plans. Patients with this coverage often pay only an injection fee.
Therapeutic Botox appointments are available at both clinics. Many private insurance plans cover BOTOX® Therapeutic — often patients with coverage pay only an injection fee.
